On a more cheerful note...
we felt that Bruno, our 8 year old Jack Russell, was in need of a playmate, so we ended up back at the RSPCA in September - we found "Rosie"
She was one of a litter of 11 pups who had spent 5 months locked in a small room until the RSPCA rescued them. They were in a poor condition and had never been introduced to the outside world.
We were a bit worried about bringing in another young dog because Bruno could be a bit 'bossy'! Anyway all has gone better than we dared to dream ... so, meet Rosie.
I've added music which will play if you click the 'slideshow' option in the gallery. It seemed appropriate and a blast from the past for me, I remember when it was in the charts in 1968! |

For those of you who knew and loved Scooby I have created a gallery especially for him, click here. I've added some music to the 'Slideshow' option, you can always turn it off! I found a poem that helps me cope with the loss, it might help others who are still grieving the loss of their dog. |

Had a fabulous day at the zoo today, weather was warm and sunny. There didn't appear to be too much activity with many of the animals that we'd hoped to see, apart from the meerkats of course, however, to my utter amazement I witnessed something I'd never actually seen before ... meet "Joey". |
